General Summary:
Programs, operates, and manages 4D, SharePoint, Document Management and PC systems software.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the MTI custom data collection systems utilizing 4D Programming Language.
- Implement and maintain the MTI SharePoint and Teams systems and related functions.
- Implement and maintain Antibus weigh scale software and reporting systems.
- Interacts with customers for customer specific bar code label requirements.
- Troubleshooting system, software, or user problems.
- Training of users to work with new systems and versions.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for the systems software.
- Provide backup support for day-to-day functions as required.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Above average analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate and organize multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to train users with varying levels of technical understanding.
Working Conditions
- The Programmer-Analyst will reside in the office, however, will be in the plant occasionally. Must be able to adhere to conditions of the plant.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
- Must be able to move about inside the office and in the plant.
- This position will operate a computer and networking equipment/software.
- Must be able to frequently communicate with employees and other individuals in person and telephone.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, MIS or engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Continuing with advanced training required to be current with technology.
