Lead Embedded Software Engineer

We’re partnered with one of LA’s leading venture capital-backed defence tech start-ups, which is developing next-generation aerospace/defence systems.

You’ll lead embedded software development on greenfield complex aerospace and defense systems and projects, through the full software development lifecycle, including elements of flight software.

Lead Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of embedded software for flight computers and other critical, brand-new, aerospace and defence systems.
• Collaborate across Electrical and Hardware division to seamlessly integrate software solutions.
• Configure RTOS, microprocessors, and Linux kernels/drivers.
• Design and execute comprehensive software test and integration cases

Lead Embedded Software Engineer Requirements:

• Experience with Embedded C, C++ and Linux environments (or relevant).
• Knowledge of Defence, Space, or Aerospace ideally.
• Full cradle to grave of embedded software experience (full Software Development Lifecycle SWDLC)
• US Citizenship or Green Card
