Senior RF Engineer

Salary: up to $250k

We’re partnered with one of LA’s leading venture capital-backed aerospace and defence tech start-ups, developing next-generation hypersonic systems.

As a Senior RF Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of RF communications hardware and telemetry systems for advanced aero and weapons platforms, while reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Senior RF Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop RF /Radio Frequency systems for hypersonic flight systems and weapons
• Create software-defined radio (SDR) communications systems
• Integrate RF systems from initial design to production (full cradle to grave of RF design and implementation)
• Execute avionics system design and high-cadence testing.

Senior RF Engineer Requirements:

• 5+ years in RF engineering.
• Experience with RF modeling tools (HFSS, CST, ADS, MATLAB, C/C++, Python).
• Proficiency with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer).
• Ideally knowledge of SIGINT, Wireless Communications and GNU Radio (Sofware-defined radio) is desired, but not needed
