Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Networking) environments.
- Perform switching and maintenance tasks to ensure network reliability and performance.
- Ensure security compliance across all network infrastructure.
- Upgrade circuits and manage SD-WAN configurations.
- Implement and maintain Cisco switching solutions.
- Develop and deploy network automation scripts and processes using Python and API calls
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues as soon as possible.
Skills:
- Experience with min 5+ yrs as a Network Engineer
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies and best practices.
- Experience with circuit upgrading and SD-WAN configuration.
- Proficiency in Cisco switching and related technologies.
- Experience with network automation, including scripting in Python and using API calls.
- Knowledge of security compliance and best practices in network management.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in relevant networking technologies (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP).
- Experience with other networking technologies and protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization.
Salary Range:
- The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $140,000 annually.
- Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
