Job Title: Technical Project Manager III

Location: NY 10038 8-5pm (hybrid 2 days onsite - should be able to choose the days)

Duration: 12 month contract (contract ending 8/25/25 – possible extension/conversion)

Hourly Pay: $95-100

Start: 8/25

  • Onboarding Timeline: about 2 weeks

Must haves:

  • 5+ years’ experience with Product Management discipline within Technology space and Agile/Scrum product development
  • 3+ years of experience in User experience or user outreach contributions (insights, research, design, testing)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications
  • Salesforce Certification
  • Expertise in setting up SF ESS
  • Proficient in online collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Teams, or similar
  • Demonstrated experience managing shared services operating model and providing governance guidance on coordinating demand intake across multiple business groups
  • Demonstrated experience providing influence and/or matrixed oversight to technical teams
  • Comprehensive and proficient facilitation, communication, & negotiation skills
  • Discipline to operate independently, collaborate effectively, and thrive in ambiguity with a generalist mindset
  • Knowledge of software development processes, technology trends, and project management principles
  • Good Knowledge of SF security features and best practices to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance
  • A good understanding of Salesforce's capabilities, including Government cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Analytics (CRMA) and other.
  • Proficiency in configuring Salesforce, hands-on building custom applications (declarative and Programmatic), workflows, and reports for various teams in a single and multiple organization(s)
  • Hands-on technology experience enabling customer relationship management capabilities with deep techno/functional and solution implementation experience in a CRM platform such as Salesforce

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join a large financial client in New York City. Qualified individuals will be responsible to setting up the governance model from start to finish for Salesforce Enterprise Shared Services. This role has an accountability to define the strategic vision for the Salesforce ESS Platform. The SME has a deep understanding of Salesforce platform and builds close relationship with various districts' Salesforce Technology Groups and is aligned with business needs and Organization's overall strategic goal. The SME manages various dependencies working closely with key stakeholder groups such as National IT, System IT, Business Groups, Enterprise Architecture, and other Technology functions. The SME works closely with platform architecture to ensure overall alignment to drive future-state business and technical capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish governance structures and processes for Salesforce shared services.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Salesforce
  • Develop and implement Salesforce operational policies, process, procedures and best practices for ESS. Define the Operational aspects of implementations, system performance and maintenance, availability and reliability.
  • Define and Develop ESS policies and procedures for Multi-org and Global deployment strategies
  • Incident management, release management, change management, configuration management, capacity planning, backup/restore, ensure business continuity / disaster recovery and Operational reports for ESS
  • User management, support and communication
  • Managing budget, expense tracking and finance reporting for projects, focusing on cost optimizing and costs, vendor management and contract negotiating, ROI analysis and ensure financial compliance
  • Project scope assessment, resource planning, time estimates, risk assessment / remediation, stakeholder expectation and continuous improvement
  • Standardize Salesforce components, Apex Exchange usage, developing templates, foster collaboration and establish governance to maximize reuse efficiency.
